Janet's Therapy Companion, Lucy Grace, in uniform on her way to work her magic |

"For us, PAWS is win-win, and our way of giving back. My beloved Mother refused to live with us in her last years, didn't want to intrude. We were saddened, but she did spend many happy years at Pitman Manor.
"Over those years, I visited her daily, and often with Morgan Mae. I constantly witnessed the smiles and joy Morgan brought out in people at the Manor who otherwise never smiled. It's because of those smiles, and in tribute to Mommy and Morgan, Lucy Grace now carries that torch, under the PAWS umbrella, and it is a privilege!"

Do you have stuff sitting around your home that you haven't used in years? Wish you could get rid of it without the hassle of running your own yard sale? Do you want to help fundraise for your Wag-n-Walk team but don't know how?
PAWS for People can help! This year, we will be hosting a PAWS for People Yard Sale to benefit the Wag-n-Walk! It's the first of its kind and we want YOU to join us!
Your team or individuals from your team can reserve a spot to sell whatever you'd like, it can be pet-related or otherwise. When someone purchases your items, you'll handle all payments. At the end of the event, you'll turn in your earnings. If you're part of a team, the funds will be directly applied to your team. If you are not part of a team, your earnings can go directly to the overall event fundraising. All you need to do is join us with a table and items to sell for this day of fun!

Ashley Kennedy & Shaggydog
Ashley and Shaggydog joined PAWS in November of 2012. A Great Pyrenees Mix, Shaggydog's gentle and sweet nature combined with his love of attention, convinced Ashley that he would be a wonderful Therapy Companion. They have visited at Cokesbury Village, Delaware, numerous Community Events, and as a PAWS for Reading Team at the University of Delaware Early Learning Center, New Castle Public Library, Newark Library, and Richey Elementary School. What a great team!
