Banfi Wine Dinner
Set for September 19th

Our first wine event of the fall season features a world renown Italian winery, its charismatic spokesman and some of the finest wines to come out of Tuscany. We will feature 4 wines from Castello Banfi, one of the most respected wine producers in Tuscany. The wines will be presented by Banfi's brand ambassador, Luciano Castiello.

Banfi is an American success story set in the wine country of Italy. The
founders of Castello Banfi were wine merchants from the US who purchased land in Tuscany in the 1970's. They built a state of the art winery that elevated the quality of the wine produced in the area. Their Brunello di Montalcino is the benchmark for fine Brunello. Its introduction to the United States in the 70's and 80's helped to enhance the reputation of all premium Italian wines.

Luciano Castiello, who will present the wines, is as delightful and satisfying as the wines he describes. One of the driving forces behind Seattle's "Slow Food" movement, Mr. Castiello embodies the Tuscan lifestyle of celebrating good food, good wine and good company.

Our Banfi Wine Dinner will begin on Tuesday, September 19th with no-host cocktails beginning at 6:30pm, followed by the dinner and tasting at 7pm. The price is $85.00 per person, tax & gratuity included. For more information, or to make reservations, call (253) 864-8600.

And, we will end as we began, with a perfomance by Puyallup's favorite crooner, Chris Anderson. Chris has gone from singing busboy to one of the area's leading entertainers. His smooth sound and Sinatra style will be a perfect way to end the summer. Chris begins singing at 6:30pm. For more information call (253) 864-8600.
