This year we have  the honor of announcing that Mrs. Jeannie Reese is celebrating her  30th year as a teacher here at SHHS.

Mrs. Reese attended Cal State Los Angeles where she earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters Degree in Art. She furthered her education at Mount St. Mary's University obtained a Master of Science in Education. Mrs. Reese began her teaching profession at Our Lady of Corvala as a music choreographer. After receiving advice from a friend, she applied to Sacred Heart High School as a Dance and Art Teacher in 1988. Since then, she has expanded her passion for teaching to many Comets for 30 years. She is a master at teaching Art, AP Art History, Video Production and English.

When asked why she loves working at Sacred Heart, Mrs. Reese stated simply and sincerely,
"The students are what keep me here because they are remarkable young women with sincere hearts. They are very earnest and loving. I have a passion to teach."

Sacred Heart is blessed to have teachers like you, Mrs. Reese!
