Roundtables play a significant role in providing continuous supplemental training for Cub Scout leaders, Boy Scout Leaders and Venturing Leaders. This monthly event provides quality resources, knowledge, program topic guidance and skills to unit leaders assisting them in delivering outstanding program to their youth.

Attention all Cub Scouts! 

Don't miss out! Make this your "Welcome to Scouting" or "Back to Scouting" event to show how much fun Scouting is. Last year, over 600 attendees had a blast at Super Loopy.

Each Scout will have the opportunity to earn all, or most of, two Belt Loops during the day. Everyone who stays the night to camp will have the opportunity to participate in a campfire program. Don't forget: camping is required of most rank advancements now.

The University of Scouting is a council sponsored event designed to be a day of learning and fun. It is a single day packed with a year's worth of fun, games, songs, skits, and new information for adults who want to provide the best Scouting program possible for their boys. This event includes topics of interest for Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Exploring and Venturing leaders. In addition to the many resources the day provides, participants have a chance to meet Scouters from all over our Council and complete supplemental training courses such as Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat and much more.  There are level-based classes offered for Commissioners which allow them to earn "degrees" at the University of Scouting.  Boy Scout and Venture Youth can attend the Den Chief training or the Introduction to Troop Leadership Skills, as well as other training sessions.

Wood Badge is the ultimate personal and professional growth training program offered by the Boy Scouts of America; it is a national course curriculum delivered locally by our Council's volunteer staff. Wood Badge is about enhancing your leadership skills through hands-on experience, to help you take those skills back to your unit or District and put them to work to develop effective leaders and youth where you serve.  Wood Badge is Designed to be taken within the first 2 years of joining the BSA.

This comprehensive training course was started by Robert Baden-Powell to help leaders hone their skills, extend their understanding of the youth they lead and the adults with whom they work, and to reach new levels of personal growth and learning as Scouters.

Wood Badge is for all leaders that want to improve the Scouting program.This is the highest level of adult training in the BSA. We encourage all leaders to attend and refresh your batteries while building your leadership skills to enhance the program in your unit, District and Council. That means Den Leaders, Committee members, Varsity Team Asst. Coaches, Crew leaders, and everyone in between. Wood Badge is for you.
