Culture Days comes to Orangeville
Culture Days is a national celebration of Canadian culture!
From September 29 to October 1, millions of Canadians will
engage in free activities and performances hosted by artists and organizations in communities across Canada. There are many online resources and tools available at culturedays.ca to support everyone who is interested in creating a Culture Days activity. Activities must be registered by September 18 to be included as an official event.
The Town of Orangeville will kick off Culture Days by hosting Celebration of the Arts on Thursday, September 28. This evening event will recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses who have contributed to arts and culture in the community. This new event replaces the annual Mayor's Breakfast for the Arts and will include a reception in the Town Hall Atrium followed by entertainment and the presentation of the Town's Arts & Culture awards in the Opera House.
The event is free; however, seating is limited so tickets will be issued starting in mid-September.
Culture Days events happening in and around Orangeville include artist demonstrations at the Visitor Information Centre, the Dufferin Town & Country Farm Tour, and the Headwaters Parade of Horses. Learn more about these and other Culture Days events here
