2017-2018 TSUSA Marketing Plan
A busy year ahead

You cannot reach your goals if you do not set benchmarks - and that is what Travel South USA has done with our recently released Marketing Plan. As we drive increased visitation and revenue to our twelve southern states, the Board of Travel South has defined how to develop and measure compelling online content, drive visitors to that content, engage in high visibility activities at events, and court earned media placements using the finite resources of time and finances available.
We have a Winner!
Louisiana's favorite son

Hearty congratulations go out to Kyle Edmiston, Louisiana Office of  Tourism, for being selected 2017's State Tourism Director of the Year by U.S. Travel Association's National Council of State Tourism Directors. "It is no surprise that Kyle received this prestigious award," said Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungeser. The award winner has been on the TSUSA Board of Directors since 2012.

U.S. - China Tourism Leadership Summit
Showcasing the South

Atlanta is excited to host the 11th Annual U.S. - China Leadership Summit - and Travel South USA is playing a vital part in welcoming the delegates.

Travel South is hosting the featured dinner where each of our 12 states will be featuring dishes from their respective state.

The dinner will be held at the Georgia Aquarium, and produced to portray a
Welcoming Southern Supper, featuring each states' best tourism assets and products, and will illustrate the collaborative efforts of the region.

This Sept. 20-23 Summit is an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the U.S. and China travel industries. In addition, the Summit is designed to provide a platform for lively discussions between U.S. and Chinese tourism industry leaders and government officials.  This conference also gives the opportunity to spotlight great destinations in the Southern U.S.
