Morning Drop Off/Afternoon Pick up: Our student drop off and pick up is located on the west of the building at entrance Q. We ask that all students getting a ride in the morning be dropped off between 7:10 and 7:20 A.M. The bell rings to go inside at 7:20, and the students need to stop at their locker, pick up their Chromebook from their tenth period class, and then go to first period. If a student is not dropped off by 7:25, it is nearly impossible for the student to make it to first period on time. The doors at entrance Q are locked at 7:28. In the afternoon, if a student is not picked up by 3:00, he/she needs to come to the front of the building where we have supervision from the office. On the west side of the building, we have supervision from 2:50-3:00.
Multi-grade classes: If your student comes home and says that there are students from a different grade in one or more of his/her classes, that may be true. Our exploratory teachers for Art, Computer Science, Fabrication Lab, Exploring Music, and Food, Fitness, and Fun do have combined grade levels of seven and eight. The multi-grade classes are new this year.
We look forward to a fantastic school year!
