Pines Families,
Worship Schedule returns to two services this Sunday, September 10th! We will worship at 9:30am and 11am. Sunday school for all ages also begins this Sunday at 9:30. Read below for the information on which classroom to take your child(ren) to for the first day:

Ages 0 months through 3 years - Room W8
Ages 3 years (by September 1st) through Kindergarten - Room W6
1st and 2nd grade - Room W14
3rd through 5th grade - Room W13


Pines Presbyterian Church is collecting donations through our youcaring.com fundraiser so we can help the 40 or so church families that were directly affected by Hurricane Harvey. If you would like to donate, please click on the link below.

The Prayer Pal Breakfast, originally scheduled for October 1st, will be postponed. More information to come... Please let Valerie know if your child is in need of a Prayer Pal. Thank you!

Kids Worship News:
Room W14 has been transformed! It is set up with an exciting array of areas and activities including new access this year to Christian music videos, children's DVD lessons and more. The KW leaders this year are: Dave and Cindy Coles, Valerie Mowell, Kathy Ropshaw and Bob Smith. We can't wait to welcome the children who attend the 11am worship service into this special room designed just for them and their own special worship time with our Creator and Redeemer!

New Curriculum!
The Discoverers and Trekkers classes will delve into the "Deep Blue" this school year with this colorful and engaging curriculum by Cokesbury. It includes engaging bible stories from the Old and New Testaments, DVD segments, worship elements, crafts, music and more!



Sunday Nights Beginning September 24th:

A new adult bible study called "Creating The Covenant" will begin and one of the groups will meet on Sunday nights from 6 to 7:30pm. There will be three 8 week sessions throughout the school year.
A program for children ages 4 through 5th grade will be offered during the first 8 weeks. More information will be coming soon!
