ACEC Colorado has scheduled our North Area Legislators Breakfast Tuesday, September 26 at 7:30 a.m. at CTL | Thompson (400 North Link, Fort Collins). This is an opportunity for you to meet your legislators and to hear about the issues for the 2018 Legislative Session.
One of our major goals is to encourage our members to have a greater awareness of and involvement in the legislative and political process. This also allows our members to share their consulting engineers' perspectives on various technical and business topics. Click here for a copy of our "Issues of Concern" paper.
We feel it is important that you get to know your elected officials. If you do not know your legislators, please go to http://leg.colorado.gov/find-my-legislator and type in your address in the search box. We have sent an invitation to your legislator.
We also suggest that you contact your legislator and personally invite them; they will appreciate knowing that one of their constituents will be attending. Please R.S.V.P. to let us know if you can attend; your firm will be invoiced $25 for this breakfast.
