2017 Annual General Meeting 

We invite you to join us on Thursday September 21, 2017 at Ramada Jordan Beacon Harbourside Hotel and Suites, for our 32nd Lincoln Chamber Annual General Meeting!  The new 2017/2018 Board of Directors will be introduced, followed by a brief financial report, a few announcements and our guest speaker Patrick Whalen.

The self-described "luckiest guy you'll ever meet", Patrick Whalen has started over twenty businesses in a variety of industries including Fulfillment Systems International (FSI), a technology driven logistics services provider. Patrick grew it from a one-man start-up in 1985 to a firm with over 200 employees in 5 locations in Canada, Europe, and the USA before being sold to UPS in 2000. It is now part of UPS Supply Chain Solutions.

Currently Patrick, along with his active role on a number of interesting Boards (Director of the Niagara Global Tourism Institute and The Canadian American Border Trade Alliance) is also Managing Director and Co-Founder of Capstone Scientific "Helping Innovation Flourish".  He works with companies, regional economic development organizations, and academic institutions to expand the collaboration and commercial activities that lead to increased revenues, partnerships, licensing, research and commercial opportunities. 

Patrick is an entertaining and engaging speaker - Join us as Patrick shares personal stories of his extensive business experience, and as he describes

Ramada Jordan Beacon Harbourside is a great venue and we look forward to enjoying a delicious meal overlooking that outstanding view over Lake Ontario.   At registration, we will give you a ticket for a glass of wine, compliments of our host Ramada Jordan Beacon Harbourside! 

We will start with a Potato Leek Soup, a salad of Garden Greens with Roasted Tomato Dressing, and for dessert, cheesecake topped with fruit, served with coffee or tea.  There are two choices available for your main course, so please indicate your choice when you register; both entrees are accompanied by Oven Roasted Potatoes and a Medley of Vegetables:

• Prime Rib with Yorkshire Pudding

• Salmon Filet with Lemon Dill Sauce

Please note, if you need to cancel for any reason, we need to be advised no later than Friday September 15th, otherwise you will unfortunately be obligated to pay for this event as the venue will be charging the chamber.  Thank you for your understanding.

Pricing for our event is $61.95 for members and members guests, + hst, totalling $70.00.  For non members, pricing is $85.00 hst included.
