All Things Chamber
Earlier this year, The Member Value Committee did an important survey to find out what the members value most about the Chamber. The survey results found consistent themes of networking, brand exposure, new business opportunities and community involvement as the most important benefits of chamber membership.
To celebrate All Things Chamber, the Membership Committee will host "Chamber Week" from September 11th - 15th with events geared towards engagement and participation. Whether you are "B-B" or "B-C" there is an opportunity to find a relevant event for your business.

September 11th, Monday:
Cyber Monday! Like us and share our Chamber Week post on Facebook to be entered into a drawing for $100 in Chamber Gift Certificates.
September 12th, Tuesday, : Discover Your Culinary Side . This is an opportunity to visit 5 great downtown restaurants and sample food and spirits One Night, 3 hours, 5 restaurants.

September 15th: Chamber Open House: All are invited from 11am - 2pm at the Chamber for a free lunch provided by Member Restaurants. This is an opportunity to meet old and new friends and sample wonderful food from our local restaurants.
I've been a Chamber member for almost 20 years. As the owner of Money Mailer of Fox River Valley, I've found that participation and involvement have been key to becoming part of the community and the Chamber. Putting Solar Energy to the Test
Construction is underway on a new utility-scale solar pla
nt demonstration/pilot project from the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency (IMEA). IMEA supplies wholesale power to the City of S
t. Charles, and selected St. Charles as host site for the solar demonstration program over other competing municipalities.
The 500kWh solar plant is located on Equity Drive in the Legacy Business Center (adjacent to the East Side Sports Complex). It features a ground-mounted solar panel array covering approximately three acres. The solar plant is one element of the City's new electric substation designed to meet increasing electricity needs in the southeastern
quadrant of the City.
