The LUM  After School Program needs volunteers from 2 to 6 p.m., every weekday.

Volunteers are needed to tutor, read to students, give spelling tests and supervise the children.

LUM Office - Volunteer Receptionists Needed
Regular, Daytime Volunteer Positions Available

RECEPTIONIST
Volunteer LUM Receptionist is needed each weekday from Noon to 4:30 p.m. — and some weekday mornings. Volunteer Receptionists greet guests, answer phones and complete general clerical duties in the main office of Lafayette Urban Ministry (420 N 4th Street, Lafayette). Bi-weekly commitment is desired. Emergency Shelter - Volunteers Needed
Make a Difference with the Homeless
The LUM    Emergency Shelter needs Overnight Shelter Volunteers 365 nights a year from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. or 8 p.m. to midnight. Duties include check-in, serve dinner, and distribute toiletries.

Bus Drivers Needed ASAP - After School Program
Earn $1,700 Stipend for the School Year
The LUM After School Program has expanded to serve 80 students from each school corporation in our area -- SO -- new Bus Drivers are needed NOW. Drivers transport children from their schools at dismissal time to the ASP site at First Christian Church, Lafayette, in one of LUM's 14-seat buses.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 2:15 - 3:15 p.m.
Dates:
NOW through May 23, 2018, when Lafayette School Corporation is in session
Stipend: $1,700 for the school year
Route: LUM Youth Center to Schools to First Christian Church
Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
