Friday Night Live
Join Carmel Christian School as they "go live" with a ribbon cutting and celebration. See more of the Student Center and Gym and celebrate God's faithfulness on Friday, September 8 from 7:00 - 8:30pm. 


THIS Sunday
  • Psalm 100  - an a cappella ensemble from UNC that includes members from the Carmel family - will lead worship. Pastor Alex will teach from Micah. The Meet the Neighbors luncheon will be held at 12:30pm for all interested in learning more about serving with a local ministry partner (details below).
  • NEW to Carmel? Connect with others new to Carmel and learn about the essentials of life in Christ at The Bridge - an 8 week interactive experience. Sundays at 11:00am. Details here. 
  • Looking for a Discipleship Community (DC)? Several NEW DCs are meeting at 11:00am Details here.
  • All parking lots are open (note parking designations) and the shuttle will run
    from Elizabeth Lane Elementary from 7:15am - 12:45pm. 
  • Traveling? Our 9:30am Worship Service will continue to be broadcast on Facebook LIVE.

You are invited to a time of corporate prayer in the Worship Center from 7:00 - 8:00am next Tuesday, September 12. Join with Pastor Alex for a few minutes or the hour for prayer and self-reflection.

  • For Women Engaged or Married to Men Battling Sex Addictio n -   Women Living Well  
    is a confidential, Christ-centered caring community for women engage or married to men battling sex addiction. Feel known, process grief, and receive tools for transformational recovery. Mondays at 7:00pm beginning September 25. To learn more confidentially contact [email protected].

Harvey Response Opportunities
Let's continue praying for the safety of each person impacted by the catastrophic floods and storms. Pray that the body of Christ will unite as one and will clearly demonstrate the love of Christ to every one they encounter.   Interested in going on an upcoming Harvey Relief Trip? Click here. 

Send Some Encouragement
Love to write cards of encouragement to your friends? Consider sharing words of encouragement with women who are incarcerated or transitioning back into the community. This Summer 126 Went... Now it's Your Turn!
This Summer, 126 people traveled a collective 42,000 miles to serve on 8 international mission trip teams! We praise God for those who went to share the Gospel and His love to the nations.
