Whitney Hines and Brent Woodard from Alachua, FL, hooked this 37" redfish not too far from Sea Hag Marina.

Jerome Lucas and Johnny Witherspoon from Valdosta, GA, took advantage of catching red snapper while the season is still open.


Jack Rigsby from West Melbourne, FL, had the awesome opportunity to hook a 38" tarpon in the flats. 
(Remember the FWC Rule -  A tarpon that does not have a tarpon tag attached to it can be temporarily possessed only for photography, measurement of length and girth with the stipulation that tarpon more than 40" fork length must remain in the water.)

Nita Chester, Leslie Joseph, Danie Jones, Emily Dubya, Suzanne Bachus and Laura Banta found all these scallops near Dallus Creek.

Capt. Wiley Horton from Gainesville, FL, reeled in this hefty 17lb red snapper while in Steinhatchee.

The Pacetti family from St. Augustine, FL, limited out on scallops during their stay at Sea Hag.

Jack Patton, JD Clarke, Tommy Ballard and Bud Deese from North Central Florida hauled in a variety of fish aboard the "Bottom Feeder".

This is the LAST Weekend of RED SNAPPER SEASON

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only June 1- Sept. 4 including Monday Sept. 4!!

Brian Fallace, Garrett Stephens and Nick Oelrich from Gainesville, FL, hooked a kingfish and a few red snapper.

Richard Gilman and his family from Jacksonville, FL, sure knew how to load the cooler up with scallops.


Sommer Pacetti and her family and friends from St. Augustine, FL, definitely found the scallops together.

Monica Bazinet from Leon County caught this pretty 19" redfish while on the "IM HOOKED" boat.



Chase-N-Fish wrestled in another redfish in shallow waters for a quick picture before releasing it back.

The CCA Trash Tournament was this past weekend and the participants did a great job bringing in the trash from all over Steinhatchee.

This is the first load that the "Trashy Girls" brought in, they said they had so much fun collecting trash. They hope you will join them next year! 

The Hudson and Watson families brought in the heaviest item in the tournament. An 8' long concrete pole.

Nancy Mach and Jerry Bergeron won the "Most Unusual Trash Item" award bringing in  a fully loaded shot gun shell belt.
