Wander around the 33 acre beautiful late 1800's farm grounds while listening to the sounds of antique machinery working.  Hundreds of Hit & Miss engines, tractors, and working farm machinery displays will be on hand to enjoy.  The Shingle Mill will be operating at various times, making the shingles everyone loves to have. From large to small engines making antique equipment run, Hildreth wood splitter and Blacksmithing demos, tractor parades and the Antique Stoneboat Tractor Pulling....there is something for everyone.
For the kids there is the barrel tractors, kids corner, super cute kids pedal pull and more.  Ladies can get their skillet on...by tossing it in the Ladies Skillet Toss.  Register Saturday morning by 8:45am and join us at the pulling track for this every popular event. Take a unique tour of Rollinsford, Berwick and Somersworth by water. The Association for Rollinsford Culture and History (ARCH) and the Southeast Land Trust (SELT) are co-sponsoring a guided tour of Rollinsford, Berwick, and Somersworth by canoe or kayak. 
The group will leave from the Bicentennial Boat Launch in Rollinsford at 1 pm and return around 3 pm. Bring your canoe or kayak, personal flotation device, and water bottle. Teddy Bear Clinic and Picnic

Kids and their favorite stuffed friends are invited to join us for our annual Teddy Bear Clinic, a fun event that helps educate kids about what happens at the doctor's office. Each child's stuffed animal is checked-in and given an ID bracelet, then children take their animals in to meet with a volunteer doctor or nurse for a check-up. If needed, animals can be taken to the surgical table for stitches, band-aides and ribbons. Each animal receives a certificate of good health at the end of the process. After your check-up, join us for our Teddy Bear Picnic from 12-12:30pm, held outside the museum in Henry Law Park if weather permits (indoors if it's rainy). Enjoy juice, fresh fruit and animal crackers with your animal friends. Summer Reading Program~Build a Better World
June 21st-August 2nd
Kids:  Kids in pre-school through grade 6 will track their reading and listening time over the summer. For every hour that you read or listen, you will get a Lego piece to add to our growing structure. If your Lego has a dot on it, you can choose a prize! Enjoy lots of amazing stories and make our Lego building expand!
Teens: T eens earn raffle tickets for reading, the more you read the better chance you have of winning a prize.  Choose where to deposit your raffle tickets from among 10 special prize packs on display. 
Adults: A ges 18 and over, can register online through the library's website, library.dover.nh.gov, or in person at the Library's Circulation Desk. Write a "mini-review" for each book you read or listen to. Each counts as an entry toward a weekly prize drawing. You may choose which weekly prize you would most would like to win.

Fashionable Folks: What New Englanders Wore
Sundays, July 2nd-October 8th
Water Street, Rollinsford
From the corsets and crinolines of the Victorian age to the streamlined styles of the Roaring Twenties, women's fashions were dramatically transformed. "Fashionable Folks: What New Englanders Wore," a new exhibit at Rollinsford's historic Colonel Paul Wentworth House, tracks the many changes in taking place in women's clothing over the course of a century. Featuring over 40 garments dating from the 1830s through the 1920s, the exhibit is open for visitors from  1 to 4 pm  on Sundays until mid-October. Guided tours of the house are also available. We will focus on elements of craft, such as scene, characterization, dialogue, narrative voice, point-of-view, and more. I will incorporate writing exercises and prompts, and we will engage in lively discussions that will provide you with the tools needed to bring your stories to fruition. In this workshop, we will also address the writing process itself, including revision and editing, and I will offer strategies and tips to help you meet your writing goals, and resources for submitting work for publication. Writers of all levels and backgrounds are welcome. 
Hone Your Craft: A Writing Workshop Wednesdays 6:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Aug. 2-Sept. 27

In addition to studying craft and technique, we will carve out extra time for all participants' pages to be read in this comfortable, supportive setting. The Museum of Art's annual Summer Art Camp classes include drawing, painting, ceramics, digital photography, and mixed media. Art camp is offered as a DAY camp for students grades 2-12.
