   NAHB YOUNG PROFESSIONAL AWARD
Nominations for the 2017 NAHB Young Professional Awards are open and will be accepted through September 29! Do you qualify? Apply now!  Do you know a deserving young leader or emerging professional? Nominate them!
The NAHB Young Professional Award recognizes young building industry professionals under the age of 45 that propel their careers forward; advance in local, state and national NAHB associations; advocate for the home building industry, engage with peers; and embed themselves as exceptional members of their communities.
This award was designed to acknowledge young professionals based on the following criteria:
  • Career Progress
  • Industry Involvement
  • Leadership Development
  • Innovation
Anyone under 45 (born AFTER December 31, 1972) is eligible to be nominated. Nominees must be an active member in good standing, excluding last year's winners, judging panelists, and the current NAHB Young Professionals Committee Chairmen. There is no fee to apply and applicants can self-nominate if they qualify. Nominations must be submitted online only.
A panel of five judges will select 15 finalists and five winners. One winner will be selected from each national region (A-E). Winners will be announced at the 2018 NAHB International Builders' Show® in Orlando.
