Greetings!

We, as Christians, live in the world we see around us, but we are also citizens of the Kingdom of God. If you pay attention, you will see the work of the Kingdom happening all around you and breaking into this world. We are called to participate in the work of the Kingdom when we see it. What is it that Jesus is calling you to do? Whatever is tugging on your heart will probably seem daunting and scary, but remember, Jesus is with you. So take a step in that direction. Do the work of the Kingdom that you are called to do.

Shiloh Place Received $1 Million Toyota Impact Grant!
Message from Judy Shaw: I just had to share with you this great blessing we have received at Shiloh Place together with our wonderful collaborating ministries. Collaboration was one of the key themes the grantors were looking for so we could never have done this on our own. It's certainly a huge event in our young life at Shiloh! Read more about the $1 million Toyota Impact Grant HERE. Thank you all for your interest and support for Shiloh; I am always available to talk with you about us. For more information contact Judy Shaw .

Opportunities to Provide

Community Food Pantry Needs Powdered Milk

The Community Food Pantry has a real need for powdered milk. They use about 350 boxes a month which provides 500 gallons of milk to children. For the month of July, St. Peter's is collecting bags/boxes of powdered milk in our donation bin. Please purchase bags or boxes that make one, three or eight quarts. Carnation is the most known brand, but store brands work great too! We are also accepting monetary donations for powdered milk. Write your check to St. Peter’s and note “powdered milk” in the memo line. If you have any questions, contact Carol Bodwell at  cbbodwell@earthlink.net.
St. Peter's Community Cupboard
Our free community cupboard, available to anyone in need, located outside of the Terrill House on Lamar St., needs donations. Please consider buying canned goods, toiletries, and household items in bulk and dropping them off at the church office so we can restock as needed. Or you can add your own donations to the cupboard at any time. For more information contact Kaye Woolery Moreno at 872-571-1156.
