The Westown Farmers' Market is Back

The market is back this week, so be sure to treat yourself today from 10 am to 2 pm in Zeidler Union Square!

Every Wednesday you can find a variety of handmade art, prepared food and Wisconsin grown produce at the Westown Farmers' Market. For a list of all vendors participating in this year's market, please click here .

The market has a full schedule of music and events for patrons to enjoy. Music begins at 11:45 am in the gazebo.

The market will take place every Wednesday from 10 am to 2 pm in Zeidler Union Square through October.

Chicken Wire Empire Takes the River Rhythms Stage Tonight

Chicken Wire Empire takes the stage this Wednesday at River Rhythms! This free, weekly concert series, presented by Miller Lite, takes place in Pere Marquette Park every Wednesday through August 30 from 6:30 pm to

9 pm.

Chicken Wire Empire blends contemporary tones with traditional roots to create a bluegrass style that is entirely their own. S ince their formation in 2014, they have established themselves as one of the hottest up and coming bands in both the local and regional music scene. Their inspired song writing and showmanship makes this the kind of show that anyone can enjoy.

Miller products, a Ciroc cocktail, wine and soda will be available at the Westown Beverage tent with all proceeds benefiting the free event. Patrons will also have a variety of food options at their disposal, so it is advised to come hungry!

The Newaukee Night Market Returns Tonight

The second NEWaukee Night Market of the season takes place tonight. The Night Market is a monthly open-air market that offers a wide variety of experiences for people of all backgrounds and ages on West Wisconsin Avenue between 2nd and 4th Streets.

Again this year we are aiming to connect the Westown Farmers' Market, River Rhythms and the Newaukee Night Market to further expand upon the exciting momentum in Westown.

The Night Market runs from 5 - 10pm on the following Wednesdays: July 12, August 16, and September 13. Visit Newaukee for more information.
