Falcons in the City by Chris Earley, Photographs by Luke Massey
This is a children’s non-fiction picture book about a pair of falcons that chose to build their nest on a Chicago high rise condo balcony. It’s quite impressive – the story, the breadth of information about peregrine falcons, and the stunning photography. I read it with my 9 year-old daughter and she was enthralled. Anyone (at any age) with interest in birds of prey or nature photography will love it. (New Juvenile Non-Fiction)
