On July 4th, Governor Christie signed the FY18 Budget and it includes $20 million for increased wages for DSPs. The Arc of New Jersey Family Institute receives many calls each month from individuals and families looking for a support group. There are a variety of support groups for individuals with I/DD, their families members and friends. The Family Institute has created a calendar on our website with a list of statewide support groups. Don't see your support group listed? Don't worry, there is a link on the site where you can submit your group's information.

Keeping your records organized can be challenging. There are many systems a person can be involved with and this can sometimes be overwhelming. But we're here to help! Quick Notes are agency specific, profile forms, that help you record critical information needed to navigate the system. Additionally, each Quick Note comes with a Call Log to help you record phone conversations.

Road to Employment
LEAD Program
Leadership, Education, Advocacy and Determination (LEAD) is a statewide program that has been funded by the NJ Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
LEAD is a unique personal and vocational skill building and mentoring program designed for high school students who function on grade level. The ultimate goal of the program is to assist young people in developing the skills necessary for a successful transition to adult life and employment through participation in a variety of experiential activities.
