Communities receive financing for environmental infrastructure projects
The GEFA board of directors awarded 14 communities financing totaling more than $44 million for water, sewer, and wastewater infrastructure improvements during its meeting in May. The loan commitments include conservation and economic development projects.

Attendee registration is open for the 12th annual Georgia Environmental Conference-the state's largest environmental conference. The conference hosts environmental professionals and industry leaders from all over the Southeast.

Gov. Deal appointed Jason Winters, sole commissioner of Chattooga County, to the GEFA board of directors.
