All Saints Adult Choir News
Do people look at you strangely at stoplights as you belt out the oldies with the radio?  Are you a canary in the shower? If so, consider joining the All Saints Choir.   All voice parts are welcome and no audition is required! Don't know what a "voice part" is or how to read music?  No worries.  Co-directors Tim and Kristin Smith and the friendly folks in the choir are ready and eager to help.

The Adult Choir performs its music ministry weekly, from September-May, with occasional Sundays off.  The choir also performs for special occasions as needed. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:15-8:15 pm, with a "touch up" rehearsal on Sunday morning before the 10:30 am service.

Please take note of the following upcoming events:

Wednesday, August 23, 2017 @ 7:15 pm: First "official" rehearsal of the season
Newcomers especially welcome!

Wednesday, August 30, 2017 @ 7:15 pm: Second "official" rehearsal of the season
Newcomers especially welcome!

Wednesday, September 6, 2017 @ 7:15 pm: Third "official" rehearsal of the season
Newcomers especially welcome!

Sunday, September 10, 2017 @ 10:30 am: RALLY DAY/First Sunday for the Adult Choir to return to its ministry of music.

All rehearsals take place upstairs in the loft of the nave/sanctuary.

Exciting things are happening with the music ministry this year.  We have our annual Advent Service of Lessons and Carols planned for December 10, 2017. With the assistance of our new pipe organ and a beautifully restored grand piano to support and enliven our worship we can once again look forward to leading this special event. These fine instruments are guaranteed to give you the confidence you need to sing joyfully and with an open heart. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Questions? Call or e-mail Kristin at 264-1351 or [email protected].

MOPS
MOPS (Mother's Of Pre Schoolers) is about to start up meetings again here at All Saint's! We meet on the second Mondays of each month September through May here from 9-11AM.

Once again we are reaching out to the All Saint's congregation for volunteer help. Unfortunately we lost a couple of great volunteers from last year because of new adventures, and now we are seeking out more volunteers to bless our group. We aren't asking you to come every month, unless you want to, but even if you could help with a couple certain months we would appreciate it.

Here is what volunteering for MOPS looks like, we provide coffee and the kids and you get to snuggle and play with little ones who love attention! If you think this sounds like something you'd enjoy, please get a hold of Kayleigh Whisler the MOPS coordinator (402) 984-2008
