Rally your students around our water resources! Do a DIY project, connect with an existing event, or create a community event with a free Toolkit. 


Earth Overshoot Day was August 2nd - marking the day the global community exceeded our natural resource 'budget' for the year.  Help your students understand their impact as a global citizen and take action to reduce their footprint so we can #movethedate. Each green action you take has a positive impact!

19 aquariums have joined up to reduce single-use plastic in their operations and spread awareness about how our choices impact our favorite aquatic critters.

The POPS Summit brings together students taking action to reduce plastic waste in their communities. They learn about current research and collaborate with peers and mentors to get inspired to take their efforts to the next level. 

Teams of 2-4  students ages 11-18 may apply. Summit takes place in February. More details on applying here.

Is your school garden overflowing with produce? If your school can't use it all search AmpleHarvest.org to find a local food pantry that would gladly take your extra veggies #savethefood and #feedpeople

5-gal. containers of reblended paint available at Woodridge Greene Valley Wastewater Facility. Open to any DuPage County resident, non-profit, or business. Pick up Mon-Fri 8am-2pm on a first come, first serve basis. Limit 3 containers.

Start planning now for the annual Sustainable Design Challenge! It's a great STEAM project for your high school students. An opportunity to get creative, learn about environmental design, and explore career options!

Our Book Rescue is open for browsing Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm and the 2nd/4th Saturdays of each month, outside of major holiday weekends. Check our online calendar for special hours and closures. Help us stay open for you by leaving a cash donation!
