Drawing the Circle Wider

Last Sunday during our all-ministry celebration and as servants of those many ministries, we stood side by side and drew our Epiphany circle wide.  In bold color and with simple shapes of circles, lines and dots, our individual-turned-corporate painting came to represent all that can be painted.  We took pleasure in the freedom expressed by some and the more deliberate expression of others as all generations marveled at our one individual circle becoming more.  What began as our own individual mark on the paper quickly grew into a fuller, deeper, color-rich portrait of openness, inclusion, and release to possibility where, no matter how full the paper became, there was always room for another mark of color, always room for it to become more.

This coming Sunday, come and claim your part of that circle.  Claim your part in the painting.  In the same way that those who are touched by our ministries claim and receive them and, then draw our ministry circle wide, so your claiming part of last Sunday's circle painting draws our Epiphany circle wider still.  Come and claim.
