Dear Friend of Terhune Orchards, 
Farm Store Full of Summer Crops
Our fields and orchards are full and new crops are coming in daily. Come to the farm store to see what summer bounty there is. 

 
Read & Pick Peaches
Tuesday August 1, 9:30 & 11am Sessions

Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines picking fruit with your young child and listening to a story highlighting that fruit. This week come celebrate everything wonderful about peaches. We will read books about peaches followed by an educational component. Then everyone will pick his or her own container of peaches to take home.  Our farm staff will explain how peaches grow and how they should be picked

Please note our peach orchard is across the street from the main farm on Cold Soil Road. After the education portion of the program, we will go across the street and picking will all take place at the peach orchard.

Blueberries are still available.  Blackberry season is just beginning. While there are still a lot of berries to ripen, we are opening the patch for the early ripening ones.  
Picking is Tuesday through Sunday, while supplies last.

Sunset Sips & Sounds -  Fridays, 5pm-8pm!
Enjoy summer evenings on the farm. Gather with friends and family. Farm fresh light fare available to enjoy with Terhune own wine. 

This Friday, Kurt Block will be playing from 5pm-8pm.
 
Start off your weekend with music and wine at Terhune.   No admission charge. Sips & Sounds is rain or shine. 

Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery

As our crew is busy in the vineyard thinning leaves, and shoots making great growing conditions for our 2017 grapes, join us in the Tasting room to sample the results of all this hard work!  With 9 varieties  of grape wine and 3 varieties of fruit wine there is something for everyone. 

Open Friday 12pm-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 12pm -6pm. Families welcome.

Peach Festival August 5 & 6, 10am-5pm
 
Celebrate Jersey Fresh and one of our state's favorite fruits by joining us for our annual Just Peachy Festival.

We have an amazing line up of restaurants and local businesses for our special "Summer Harvest " farm-to-fork tasting section from 12 pm-4 pm See what treats are in store   click here

The weekend will be filled with plenty of activities, including a ride through the orchards on our tractor-drawn wagons, pony rides, games and barnyard fun.  Enjoy live music each day noon-4pm. S top at Pam's food tent, which will offer lots of tasty peach treats. 

Pam Mount's popular free canning class will be held during the festival at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Register  here 

Wine Festival Advance Tickets Available

Terhune Orchards will be part of the annual Wine & Food Festival. 
Take a ride through beautiful northern New Jersey and experience some of their fine wines and local flavors at one centrally located venue. There will be wineries from Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon and Mercer Counties.
Food trucks, specialty food and wine-related vendors, farmers' market will have a variety of food available for purchase. Enjoy the entertainment of local bands daily.
