Backpack and School Supplies Drive - please help make the first day of school great for our kids!

Summer Fun and Back to School
Summer at Pathways is flying by! The children in our programs this season are enjoying fun, educational field trips to a number of local beaches, parks and museums. These great enrichment programs are made possible by private donations from people and businesses in our community and we are so grateful!

As we gear up for the start of another school year, we hope you will take advantage of one of the many opportunities to show your support for Pathways.

Thank you for all you do to help the children and families of Pathways throughout the year.
Backpack and School Supplies Drive

Every child deserves a chance to thrive and succeed at school.  You can help the children of Pathways have a great start to their school year by donating new backpacks and school supplies.  School budgets continue to drop and the lists of required supplies for families to purchase continues to grow.  Together, we can help alleviate some of the need and send a child off to school with a smile and confidence.

Click  here  for a list of suggested items.

You can drop off donations at the following locations until August 18th :
Pathways for Children - 29 Emerson Ave, Gloucester
Pathways for Children - 292 Cabot St, Beverly

If you are a business and would like to be a drop-off site please contact Laura Trainor at   ltrainor@pw4c.org  or 978-515-5315.

Countdown to Kindergarten

Pathways is thrilled to be a sponsor of and an active participant in the Countdown to Kindergarten events in both Gloucester (August 23rd) and Rockport (August 24th). These wonderful community events are a great way to introduce children to school. Please be sure to share this information with families of incoming kindergartners.

Schooner Adventure

Talk about adventure! We have partnered with the Schooner Adventure again this year to teach the children in our School Age Care program  about life at sea, maritime history, environmental and cultural issues. We are looking forward to our family sail on August 25th.

Thank you to Robert Stewart and Cell Signaling Technology for making this amazing experience possible.
