Service Spotlight
Victoria Matthews with Fredericksburg's Department of Economic Development and Tourism (EDT) was a presenter at the Virginia Association of Destination Marketing Organizations' quarterly meeting on July 27 in Falls Church. Victoria's presentation was part of a reunion planning seminar. The other panelists were Edith Wagner, Reunions Magazine editor-in-chief, and Cheryl Morales, marketing manager for the Newport News' Tourism Development Office. EDT has put on a family reunion workshop for several years in the Fredericksburg region.

Angela Freeman, Business Development Manager, selected by Leadership Fredericksburg
Angela Freeman, the City's Business Development Manager, has been selected as one of 29 participants in the 2017-2018 class of Leadership Fredericksburg. The nine-month program, which is run by the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, offers in-depth leadership training, networking and community service projects. The program will begin in September.
