I am loving our new --SPOTLIGHTS HIGHLIGHTER  STICK

What it does:
This precision highlighting stick incorporates a fine, delicate shimmer that leaves a subtle luminescent glow. Use it under brows, on cheek bones, cupid's bow or the nose. Great over bare skin or over foundation.
Tips:
For a more youthful look, apply to inner corner of your eyes to illuminate and appear brighter and more awake. (This is where I am using it). To give the illusion of fuller lips, accentuate the cupid's bow.  For instant lifting apply under the brow bone. (I use it here as well).
On Sale for 25% off for a limited period of time $19 to $14.25!

TIPS ON PACKING FOR A VACATION

Since many of you will be taking a vacation this month, or sometime in the near future, I thought it might be a perfect time to provide you with some tips on out how to approach this sometimes onerous task. Hopefully it can make your travel easier and more enjoyable.

  •  For each day you will be gone plan the number of outfits you will need, Keep in mind the activities you will be doing, the image you want to project and the climate you will be visiting.
  • Select a basic neutral color scheme that fits your personal coloring.  Assemble complete outfits on single hangers, including belts, scarves, shawls, and other accessories that can add a touch of color to any outfit.  (If you own a portable rack, line up the hangers with each day's apparel and accessories on the rack.) Place your shoes and undergarments needed to complete each outfit on the floor under the rack.
  • For every bottom you should have at least 2 tops.
  • Remember to take a light fold-up raincoat and umbrella.
  • If you find you have too many outfits or need too many different pair of shoes, bags, etc. begin to eliminate pieces that aren't versatile or replace outfits that need odd shoes for ones that go with shoes you are already planning to bring.
  • Plan to wear each piece of clothing two or more times. You can always mix and match and accessorize to make a "new outfit" using the same basic pieces.
  • Have a bag filled with travel size essentials, such as toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, hair spray, aspirin, mouthwash, dental floss, sunscreen and any medications you take.
  • Carry-on luggage should contain items that will allow you to operate for a day or two if your luggage gets lost. This should include your travel essentials, makeup, and one or two pieces of clothing that can help the outfit you are wearing on the plane look fresh.
  • If the time away is strictly casual, bring only casual clothing. If it is a business trip, pack according to the types of meetings and functions you will be attending.
  • Always carry on your valuables and do not bring your best jewelry. Take a minimum of jewelry that will work with your outfits.
  • Make three copies of your credit cards, drivers license, passport, and passwords. Leave one copy at home, one in your purse and one in your luggage.
  • Try to select clothing that doesn't wrinkle easily like light -weight wools, cotton knits, and washable silk, all of which travel well. To avoid wrinkling, either fold your clothes in plastic dry cleaner bags, tissue paper or packing envelopes by Eagle Creek, which can be purchased on line at www.travelsmith.com or from the Container Store. When you get to your destination, take the clothes out of your suitcase and hang them up immediately. Stubborn wrinkles can fall out if the garment is exposed to steam in the bathroom.
  • Travel with protein bars, peanuts or almonds. If you are stuck, you can keep your blood sugar from plummeting.
  • And do not forget comfortable shoes.

MISCELLANEOUS
  • Sales are plentiful now but discipline and common sense are required. If you have a tendency to get into credit card trouble, simply pay in cash. And remember do not buy anything on sale you would not buy at full price.
  • Just because something is in style does not mean it will be flattering for you.
  • If you order from the website, please be sure I am listed as your consultant -- Lynne Glassman -- so I get some credit for the sale. Of course, I would always prefer you order/reorder directly from me and I will mail the products to you right away.
