Advanced Health Care Client Turns 100 Years Old and Gets Some Local Notoriety
Did you see our recent blog post about this lovely client who turned 100?  It's worth a read!  There is also a short video about our visit here.  The Olympian Newspaper and The Thurston Mason Lewis Senior Newspaper also featured our article about her in their papers.  You can grab a copy of the August Senior News at many local places; senior centers, doctor's offices, banks, restaurants, etc.  Happy Birthday, Dr. Taylor and thank you to her caregiver, Emmah, for the exceptional care you give to this special woman!
Lakefair 50+ in the Park Event
It was a warm, sunny, and well attended day on July 14th for the Senior Day of Lakefair in Olympia last month.  Our nurses came out to host a blood pressure clinic.  Some of the office staff were also there to talk with people about our services and hand out pens, brochures, and information to all who came to be a part of the festivities.  The musical entertainment and all of the fun people we had the chance to meet were the highlights of the day!  Here are a few photos we thought we'd share.
Debra, RN is ready for the day!
Judy, RN taking BP and visiting with an attendee.
Judy, Julie, Lynessa, and Sharla at the AHC booth.
Julie, our RN, her granddaughter, and Deb.
Have You Heard?
You are now required to dial all 10 digits to call out from your phone, even when calling local numbers? This was a change that came effective this past weekend. Make sure to check your contact lists on your phone to ensure you have all of your local numbers saved with the area codes, or your calls won't go through.
