Craig McCargo

A wizard on the basketball court while growing up, Craig McCargo has always had his eyes focused on his goals. He grew up in South Boston and graduated from Halifax County High School in 2005 before signing a D1 basketball scholarship to attend Virginia Military Institute.

McCargo transferred back to Southside Virginia Community College, where he played two years for the SVCC team averaging 24.8 points per game (still the highest season scoring average in team history) while leading the Force to two Virginia Community College System title games. He earned his Associate's degree in Psychology at SVCC before transferring to King University where he completed his requirements for a Bachelor's degree and his collegiate basketball career in 2010.

McCargo currently lives in Charlotte, NC where he runs a business in the automobile industry. He joked that he would like to "make a boat load of cash and retire to an island soon" but in the meantime will continue to work hard to meet his personal and professional goals. He advises, "You get what you put in. Take advantage of your current situation or make sure you work hard to improve it."
