The  Giving USA  report is published annually by Giving USA Foundation, a public service initiative of The Giving Institute. It is researched and written by the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.  Leaders in philanthropy rely on and regularly consult Giving USA so they can act on the emerging challenges and trends affecting philanthropy and fundraising in the United States. President's Message

Mary Freeman
Like me, many of you may be reflecting on your fiscal year 'end, or adjusting your plan to ensure the upcoming months are as successful as possible. Your AFP chapter is a resource to help undergird your success or provide tools to help you overcome your fundraising challenges. Every time I come upon the end of a fundraising cycle I renew my priorities and grow my network of support so I can start with a clean slate filled with a renewed sense of purpose. How is your fundraising going this year? Have you celebrated your successes? Are you hyper-focused on those challenges? Whatever your state of mind, please know that your AFP chapter is here to support you!

As we all know, fundraising is a team sport! We are truly honored to be celebrating those in our community who generously support our organizations. Please mark your calendars for a beautiful fall day, Friday, November 10, 2017, as we honor some of Dallas' finest community leaders. We celebrate their incredible contributions and generosity on National Philanthropy Day:
  • Outstanding Philanthropist - Sandra & Henry Estess
  • Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser - Lynn McBee
  • Outstanding Foundation - The Hersh Foundation
  • Outstanding Corporation - Neiman Marcus
  • Outstanding Youth In Philanthropy - Micah Pinson
  • Outstanding Fundraising Executive - Pagett Gosslee, CFRE
  • Special Recognition Award - Terry Simmons (posthumously)
Thank you for choosing the Greater Dallas AFP Chapter as your place to help grow and motivate your fundraising success!

Cordially,
