On Saturday August 26, join us for the first ever ride from Lake Simcoe to Lake Ontario along the Durham Region section of  The Great Trail, in celebration of Canada 150! For only $20.00, riders can bike the 95 kilometre route, and will receive a t-shirt, refreshments along the trail and lunch at Second Wedge Brewing Company. Summer Renovations and Projects

Summer is great time to work on outdoor projects and enjoy the weather! Before you get started, make sure to review all applicable by-laws such as the Noise By-law, Fence By-law, Zoning By-law and Property Standards By-law to ensure compliance with the municipal legislation. 


There is still limited space available for the Summer Day Camp Programs. Children  aged 4 - 12 may be registered to participate in the Day Camp programs at the Beaverton-Thorah Community Centre, Rick MacLeish Memorial Centre and Sunderland Memorial Arena which run Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Camp programs run until August 25, 2017.  Register online today
Have you purchased a burn permit for the year? Have a question about burning or emergency services? Review the Open Air Burning Permit information or call the Municipal Administration Building 705-432-2355 to speak to a member of our Fire Department. 
Summer 2017 Recreation Programs 
 
Reminder, the Summer 2017 Recreation Programs run until September 2, 2017. Activities include: Adult Basketball, Adult Volleyball, Badminton, Gentle Fit, Kickboxing, Pickleball, Warrior Fitness and Yoga! For more information please visit the Township of Brock Recreation Website.

  • Beware of new water treatment sales tactic. The Region would like to remind residents that the Region does not sell or endorse water filters or treatment equipment.
