VBS Mission: We can "Change the World"!

This year for our Vacation Bible School mission, we asked our congregation and our VBS children to fill water jugs with their spare change.  We knew if we worked together, we could "change the world"- with our change and an organization called Living Water International.

Our congregation got us off to a great start by donating $67.50 before VBS began. During VBS week, our four different age groups competed to see who could bring in the most change.

The competition was close! Every night kids went home to find spare change where they could. We even had two girls, Kate and Ellie Gauthier, decide to clean tables to earn money for our VBS mission at their Family Business!

After VBS concluded, our group totals were finalized:
3rd/4th/5th Grade: $291.03
1st/2nd Grade: $145.50
K: $133.89
K4: $248.62

This makes the grand total for VBS $819.04 and our Noel total $886.54! That's an incredible amount of change collected for Living Water International. A big thanks to all who contributed, your generosity will allow a great organization to continue making clean water a reality for those in need.  And a special thanks to our VBS Mission leader, Stephanie Jordan!

Hello Neighbor- Living Water International

Mark 12:30-31,
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other Commandment is greater than these.
