Don't forget, F-1 students may not enter the US more than 30 days prior to the start date of the I-20/DS-2019. Your form likely has a program start date of August 21, meaning your visa does not allow you to enter the US before July 22. Plan travel accordingly!

OTHER HOUSING RESOURCES
The Off-Campus Housing Services office is UMD's office that supports you in your housing search. You can visit them on your arrival in the Student Union.
They also have a number of online tools, such as: - OCH DATABASE:A housing search database with available area rentals
- Roommate Finder: An online service that helps you get connected with other students
Whether you use the University of Maryland's Off-Campus Housing Services or not, make sure to take a look at their resources and tips and remember never to send any money until you have seen the accommodations and signed a lease.
