There is much to be grateful for this summer. First and foremost, I am grateful for local farms and local farmers. I love how easy it is to stop at one of the many produce stands (and wineries too!) where I might be able to thank the farmer who lovingly cared for the land to produce the delicious food.
One of these wonderful local farm stands is at Brazelton Ranch. They are close to my house and I love saying hi to Jean and Hutson. Let us know on Facebook or by email if you tried Jean Brazelton's peach cobbler recipe. I will let you know how mine turns out, too. I can't wait!
We are so lucky to live in a community where we can go straight to farmers for these perfect orbs of summer.
Brazelton Ranch in Vacaville is one of our community treasures. As a special treat, matriarch Jean Brazelton has shared her peach cobbler recipe with us!

Some girls receive their first pair of high-heeled shoes at their quinceañera (a 15-year birthday party and celebration of a girl transitioning to a young woman).
But not Anahi Kimberly or Yzzette Zamira Gomez. These sisters received cowboy boots to wear with their formal dresses at their respective birthday parties at Rush Ranch.
While our new office isn't exactly an HGTV makeover, it is a reality that we had outgrown our office space in downtown Fairfield, which we had occupied since 2004.
It took time to find a new office, but it was worth the wait because we were able to build out a beautiful new office space, and we want to share it with you. Please join us for an open house on Friday, July 14.
Choosing an office space isn't easy. Our wish list included...
We love our inviting and collaborative work space in Old Town Suisun City, and want to share it with you. Enjoy appetizers catered by Cast Iron Grill and wines from Suisun Valley.
Join us this fall at the Wooden Valley Winery in Suisun Valley for a Sunday Supper in the Vines. Enjoy the view and the season at this local winery with deep roots in the valley.
Mark your calendars now for a Sunday Supper prepared by local chef, Daniel Bell, and help us to celebrate local food, local wine, community, conservation, and you.
