We're excited to announce that not one, but TWO additions to the Parks, Recreation and Open Space family! A bouncing baby ram (boy lamb) was born on June 28 at the Plains Conservation Center, followed by a half-sister (ewe lamb) on July 13! Paco and Maria, the resident donkeys who watch over all the sheep and keep coyotes at bay, were especially protective of the new arrivals. Both moms and babies are doing well at their home pastures at Willow Creek Pastures.
There are still a few spots open for the remaining weeks of summer camps for all ages and interests and at various locations. Campers explore topics from art, cooking and tennis to surviving a zombie apocalypse! Don't disappoint them - register today!

Mulch is important to help sustain trees and gardens, especially in Colorado's arid climate. Bring a pick-up truck or open trailer to the city's mulch pile on Saturday, July 22, 8 a.m. - noon and we'll load it full for you.
IMPORTANT NOTE! Aurora's mulch pile is no longer open for self-service, 24/7. If you want free mulch, this is your chance!
