It's a Boy! And a Girl!

We're excited to announce that not one, but TWO additions to the Parks, Recreation and Open Space family! A bouncing baby ram (boy lamb) was born on June 28 at the Plains Conservation Center, followed by a half-sister (ewe lamb) on July 13! Paco and Maria, the resident donkeys who watch over all the sheep and keep coyotes at bay, were especially protective of the new arrivals. Both moms and babies are doing well at their home pastures at Willow Creek Pastures.
