NALHFA Appoints Jonathan M. Paine 
Executive Director 
 
[Washington, DC] The Board of Directors of the National Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (NALHFA) has announced the appointment of Jonathan M. Paine, CAE, as its executive director effective June 30, 2017. Paine has been serving as the Interim Executive Director since February 6 replacing Marc Selvitelli, who left the association to pursue another career opportunity.

Jonathan Paine has served as the chief executive officer of the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) and as the chief operating officer for the Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA).   

As CEO of NLBMDA, Jonathan is in charge of the daily operations, membership services, advocacy, education, events, marketing and financial management of the association.  He works closely with NLBMDA leaders, member volunteers and the 13 state and regional chapters to implement the association's strategic initiatives. Jonathan has a proven record of success with association management.  

"Over the last few months I have had the privilege of working closely with the NALHFA leadership to advance the strategic objectives of the organization and to hold a fantastic annual conference in San Francisco," said Paine."  I am excited to take on this new opportunity and to continue to building a strong relationship with the NALHFA membership. Jonathan holds a bachelor's degree in Government from Suffolk University in Boston. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, its highest honor. He also is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through the American Society of Association Executives™ (ASAE), of which he is a member.
