Little Free Library opens at
Woodbridge Center Mall
|

A
Little Free Library: Take a Book-Return a Book, supported by Woodbridge Public Library and some dedicated volunteers, has opened on the second floor of Woodbridge Center Mall, 250 Woodbridge Center Drive, Store #2005, next to Lord & Taylor. Little Free Libraries offer new and lightly used books to contribute to literacy in the community. Books can be taken, and books will be accepted in return but are not required. The Pop Up Library will have open hours during the last weeks of the summer with a sample of summer reading programs, writers programs and literacy activities based on the NJ State Library sponsored theme, Build a Better World. A schedule of open hours will be posted to the library website, the mall store and this eNewsletter.
The Little Free Library nonprofit organization has been honored by the Library of Congress, the National Book Foundation and the American Library Association.
Readers Digest named them one of the “50 Surprising Things We Love About America.”

Laughter is
still one of the best medicines. WPL print materials circulate for extended loan periods during the summer and
books on wit and humor are included. Check your books with a librarian for a
vacation loan--and keep it until September 8th! School summer reading materials and some other items may not be eligible, but so many are.
Click the image for humorous on-line e-reads available now on your eReader from
eLibraryNJ.

Registration is ongoing through the summer--register by clicking on our flyer.
