Since 1904, Live from the Waterfront (formerly known as Summer in the Parks) has been an important part of the City's heritage. With the incomparable Marina Park on Lake Superior as the setting, concerts showcase performers presenting a variety of musical styles. In addition to great music, Summer in the Parks evenings feature children's activities, free draws, a variety of on-site concessions and an artisans' market. The concerts are held on Wednesday nights throughout the summer from 6 to 9 pm.

The 4th Annual Staal Foundation Open
July 10th - 16th, 2017
The Staal Foundation Open presented by Tbaytel is one of twelve events on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada schedule this summer. Hosted at Whitewater Golf Club in Thunder Bay, the event plays host to 156 elite up and coming golfers from around the world on their quest to play in the PGA TOUR.

Come join us on the shores of beautiful Lake Superior for a fun filled Stand Up Paddleboard community event and experience! Activities include SUP Yoga (Moksha Yoga), sup race around Mary Island, SUP board demos and clinics, SUP marina sunset blues paddle (Saturday or Sunday evening), weather depending.  All skill levels are welcome to participate in this fun race and event.
