SASKATCHEWAN GOLF HALL OF FAME 2017 INDUCTEES
SASKATOON, SK - The Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame (SGHF) announces its seventh induction class including a total of four inductees and one team.  The inductees include two players, our first combination inductee, a distinguished service inductee and a team. T he combined achievements and contributions of these inductees span throughout many decades and add to the rich history of the sport of golf in Saskatchewan.
The seventh inductee's class to the Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame includes:

Each year our province's top players, distinguished service providers and teams competing at national championships, add to the achievements of golf in Saskatchewan. We know there will be many additions to the SGHF in the next 100 years. 
Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Banquet
  • The SGHF Induction Ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at the Riverside Country Club in Saskatoon. 
  • Tickets and information regarding the the event will be made available for the purchase from the Golf Saskatchewan website (www.golfsaskatchewan.org) on August 1st, 2017.
On behalf of the SGHF Committee, congratulations to the inductees.   We look forward to celebrating with the inductees and/or their family and friends in Saskatoon in September.  Until then, keep the ball on the short grass, smile and remember, "Golf is the greatest social game ever created!"

ABOUT RIVERSIDE COUNTRY CLUB

ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL GOLFERS' ASSOCIATION OF SASKATCHEWAN (PGA of SK)
The Canadian Professional Golfers' Association is a member based non-profit organization representing over 3,500 golf professionals across Canada. The Association was founded in 1911 which makes it the oldest Professional Golf Association in North America and the 2nd oldest PGA in the world. ABOUT THE SASKATCHEWAN TURFGRASS ASSOCIATION (STA)
The STA encourages and promotes research in the turfgrass industry, as well as the exchange of ideas among turfgrass professionals. The STA sponsors seminars in the spring and fall to all willing turf managers in the province. The STA aids in the advance of research in the area of turf culture and facilitating a practical knowledge of turf operations while participating in the funding and developing of research projects involving the turfgrass industry in Saskatchewan. ABOUT THE GOLF SASKATCHEWAN (Golf SK)
Golf Saskatchewan is the governing body of amateur golf in Saskatchewan, representing approximately 13,000 members at 120 clubs across the province. Golf SK's mission is to grow participation in, and passion for the sport while upholding the integrity of the game. Golf SK conducts programs and services to serve golfers in Saskatchewan.
