Power and Energy Institute (PEIK) Energy Experiences course recently got a real-world look at power. PEIK and partners LG&E/KU, TVA, EKPC and Duke, provided students an immersive experience through visits to regional facilities for electricity generation, distribution, and management.

Adams, Lu and Young Receive NASA Grant

Young have been awarded a grant from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration entitled “Fast Computational Electromagnetic Methods for GEMINI”. The grant will support the integration of computer modeling technologies and tools developed at the University of Kentucky within NASA’s Gemini simulation tool.
