Happy Summer!

I hope you have had the chance to enjoy some time with family and friends this summer. Here we are in mid-July and at CUW we already preparing to welcome new students on campus. Our theme for the 2017/18 academic year is "Gifted by Grace, Prepared for His Purpose" based on Ephesians 2:8-10: "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (ESV)

Listed below are some opportunities and activities to enjoy with your Concordia family, as well as ways you can help us prepare our new students for their purpose for service to Christ in the Church and the world. We strive to find ways where Concordians can help Concordians and if there is a way we can assist you, please email me at michelle.wagner@cuw.edu.

On Tuesday, November 7th, an event will be held to connect students and business professionals from the hospitality, sports entertainment, and events management industries. Then on Wednesday, November 15th, alumni can participate in a program with the Business Essentials class. Save the date for these events and watch for more information in future e-newsletters, CUWConnect, and Facebook.
