DVFBC Community News

We love hearing about our Members' achievements and successes! Here are some highlights about our community:

American Reading Company's ARC Core is the first and only ELA curricula to receive a Green review for K-8. The process is based on teachers knowing their students, students knowing themselves, and teachers & students working as partners in the learning process.

RKL LLP, one of our Educational Partners, was recently named Outstanding Business of the Year by Leadership York of York County, PA, based on its community engagement and philanthropy.

Congrats to both of you!

Dinner Forum November 16: How the Purell Family is Navigating Transitions in a Unique Way

Marcella Kanfer Rolnick , Vice Chair of  GOJO , the makers of Purell, will speak about the Kanfer Family Enterprise (KFE), their family business model, which allows family members to work on his or her preferred venture, yet still be part of the family business. All family members are involved in some way, including in their philanthropic endeavors. Every part of the enterprise, whether for-profit or non-profit, must allow the Kanfer family to create meaning and value together as a family.

The fourth generation children are even involved by learning family values in age-appropriate games and projects at the annual family retreat.  Learn more about this great evening of learning and dinner!
