Diabetes Canada is starting a new program for Spring 2018 and is looking to collaborate with senior organizations. The program will be called the Walk and Talk, and it is organized so that people who are at risk of or have diabetes and their caregivers can learn about management and prevention of diabetes and then go for a group walk. It will be a free eight-week program that can be held all over Edmonton. 211 Resource Lists are one page reference sheets which can be printed and shared with clients and staff. They contain frequently referred to resources on a variety of topics including seniors, newcomers, family violence and abuse, basic needs, and more.
