ICSC Summer Events are underway and we are excited to offer a diverse lineup of Sunday programs for the whole family! 

Last weekend, a group of us visited the  Stoneview Nature Center (SNC) in Culver City  for fruit picking and a halaqa. As we reflected on the beauty of God's creation, Sheikh Asim led the group through reciting Surah Ar-Rahman before spending a few minutes expressing gratitude and sharing our reflections with the circle. It was a fun, spiritual outing and we look forward to visiting again in the future!

The Islamic Center visited Stoneview Nature Center on Sunday, July 9, for Fruit Picking and a Halaqa with Sheikh Asim.

Start your weekend out with a special Family Night program taking place tonight at New Horizon School in Pasadena. Heather Laird will be leading two separate sessions on "Addressing Mental Health in our Community" - one for youth and one for adults. Please help our organizers prepare and RSVP if you plan to attend.

Finally, join us this Sunday, July 16, at 8 a.m. (sharp!) for a Morning Hike to an overlook point with a view of the entire city of Los Angeles. We will be meeting in the parking lot at the Griffith Park Observatory where the trail begins. It will be warm, so please remember to bring snacks and water!.
