Ribbon Cutting: Stokes Counseling Services

Stokes Counseling Services recently celebrated the opening of its new location at 16 Hillside Ave. in Naugatuck. The business, previously located at 35 Porter Ave. in Naugatuck, provides counseling services for individuals and families. On June 27, the Naugatuck Chamber and Naugatuck YMCA teamed up once again for the 23rd Annual Golf Outing and Dinner. Participants enjoyed a full day of golf, games and food at the Watertown Golf Club. The 1st Place - Best Ball foursome included Dave Rotatori of Ion Bank, Ron Pugliese of Naugatuck Economic Development Corporation, John Jahne of Ion Bank, and John Pruchnicki of Ion Bank. The 1st Place - Scramble foursome from Liberty Bank included Dave McDuff, Patrick McGrath, Mike Grieder and Chris Stokes.

New Business Banking Vice President joins Ion Bank
Ion Insurance Corporation, a full-service independent insurance brokerage affiliated with Ion Bank, has hired Douglas Coulter as a Commercial Lines Producer. In his new position, Mr. Coulter will be responsible for advising business owners on Commercial Property and Casualty products.
Mr. Coulter was employed by State Farm in Wallingford for the past 6 years as a Commercial Lines Specialist. He has been a mentor for the FIRST Team 237, Watertown High School Robotics from 2004 - 2017.
A native of Waterbury, Doug resides in Meriden with his wife, Mary and their three children - Trevor, Justin, and Christian.
