Many thanks to all the children, parents, volunteers, VBS Coordinators and anyone else who helped make this years VBS a success.  All your hard-work was greatly appreciated.   The children had a great time and learned so much.

Special Guest Worship Leader
In worship this Sunday, we eagerly welcome our guest worship leader, the Rev. Charles Dickerson, Jr.  Rev. Dickerson  formerly served as an associate minister at First Baptist Church, here in Oxford, Ohio. During his time at First Baptist he aided the Pastor during worship, served as the Intercessory Prayer Team Leader and the Wednesday night Bible Study teacher.
 
Rev. Dickerson's life mission is to aid in the spiritual development of believers in Christ through the preached word of God so they may discover who they were created to be in order to live their full purpose of life in the Kingdom of God, here on earth.

Memorial Service for Eileen Jeck
A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held in loving memory of Eileen Jeck on Friday, July 21 at 4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Oxford Presbyterian Church.

The family request that women wear colorful clothing to the service, as that is what Eileen would have wanted.

Reception immediately following the service in The Seminary Building.  All are welcome.
Youth Journey Through the Bible - Freedom Summer
As the youth continue their Journey through the Bible, viewed through the lens of race and ethnicity, all middle and high school youth are invited to join Matt Lykins and Molly Todd on Sunday, July 23rd for an opportunity to learn more about the 1964 civil rights initiative known as Freedom Summer. We will meet for lunch at 12:00 p.m. at the pavilion in the Uptown Park (we'll decide on a place to eat once the youth gather) and then travel together to the Freedom Summer Memorial on Miami University's Western Campus. At the memorial Mrs. Sibyl Miller, a member of the Oxford Community, will talk with our youth about local involvement in Freedom Summer.

The Deacon's Children's Food Drive
Many Children do not get school lunches in the summer and need extra food at home .   The Deacons request your donations of food and money to make their Food Drive a success. Food and Monetary donations may continuously be given throughout the summer.
 
If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make a check out to the Oxford Presbyterian Church with Children's Food Drive in the note field.  The money will be used to purchase food for the Oxford Choice Food Pantry.
 
Oxford Choice Food Pantry needs: canned fruit, cereal, spaghetti sauce, canned meals (such as Chef Boyardee or Kroger meals) and peanut butter. Toilet paper, child personal care items like body wash, deodorant, shampoo and hair conditioner
