Think About It Program
As part of the transition into your first year at Mount Union, all new students are required to complete Think About It, an online alcohol, drug, and sexual misconduct prevention and education program. The interactive program is designed to help you to make healthy choices. We think that you'll enjoy going through the program and that it will give you some useful pointers and advice. Part 1 of the program must be completed by August 22, 2017.

An email directly from the Think About It program was sent to your Mount Union email on Friday, so be sure to check that out to learn how to log-in and complete the course.

Tobacco-Free Campus
The University of Mount Union prides itself on its dedication to the health and well-being of its community and recognizes that it has a unique opportunity to educate both its campus members and the Alliance community about the serious health consequences associated with the use of tobacco products for both users and non-users alike.

For this reason, as a new member of our campus community, it is important for you to know, the University is adopting a tobacco-free campus policy. Thus, effective January 1, 2018, Mount Union will officially become a tobacco-free campus.

Smoking and the use of tobacco products shall not be permitted in any enclosed place on campus and is prohibited outdoors on all Mount Union campus property as well as in all personal vehicles while on campus. This policy applies to all students, faculty, staff, and other persons on campus, regardless of the purpose for their visit.

In preparation for implementation of this policy, the Office of Alcohol, Drug, and Wellness Education has compiled resources on smoking and other tobacco use cessation and will be available to students who would like assistance.

If you have any questions about Think About It, please feel free to contact the Office of Alcohol, Drug, and Wellness Education at (330) 823-4978.
