Dr. Carol Morrow Takes the Helm of the CDA


Dr. Carol Morrow, from Walsh, Colo., was installed as the Colorado Dental Association's 131st president. Dr. Morrow is the youngest president in the association's history and only the second female president to lead the CDA. Plus, two new members have been elected to leadership positions. PDMP Survey: Your Opinion Counts! 

To improve the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP), the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is working to improve access and enhance the user experience. CDA Gives: Biergarten Raises $6,000 for CDA Foundation


During the 2017 CDA Annual Session, the Past President's Reception doubled as a fundraiser for the CDA Foundation. Because of the generosity of CDA members in attendance, the first-ever Bitte Geben Biergarten raised $6,000, which will fund scholarships for University of Colorado dental students. Learn more.

EPA Amalgam Separator Mandate Reinstated 

With the change in presidency, on Jan. 20, 2017, the new administration directed that all new regulations, including the regulation on amalgam waste, be suspended. After further review, on June 14, the amalgam waste rule was reinstated as previously published with an effective date of July 14, 2017 (the original effective date).
