Dear Catoctin Residents,
I hope you are keeping warm and staying safe today. As you know our area is under a
winter storm warning
until 8pm this evening.
The National Weather Service is calling for "Heavy snow with total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches expected by this evening. Locally higher amounts are possible in the higher elevations. Plan on difficult travel conditions. Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times. With the wet snow, be prepared for a power outage as well."
